The Drink-up Craze!

You have probably heard of them, attended one, know friends who have attended one, or your neighbor has attended one, if none applies to you then u are probably under-age or over-age.

Anyway, drink-ups have become a common fixation in our society today, especially the campusers who just can’t get enough of them. After checking out a number of University hostels, I have come to the realization that drink-ups seem to have taken over every other social function that we used to celebrate, birthdays, anniversaries and anything u can think of, you jus get an invite to a drink-up to celebrate someone’s birthday. Soon we shall have wedding drink-ups.

Generally we all come together and drink ourselves silly till daybreak and by which time many have indulged in so many “extra-curricular” activities that leave one wondering who stole our morals.

Bottle-parties are those where each guest comes with a bottle of some vodka, spirit, wine or any alcoholic drink preferably with a high percentage-level.

Loud music and booze are jus the order of the day at these little gatherings. The creative ones have even formulated games to speed up the rate at which people get drunk; tots and ladders, spin the bottle, truth or dare.

Well now that you know about them, next time you’re holding one, don’t forget to invite me.

Navio : Nekoleera Gyange

I’ve just confirmed that good music will always be good whether it is sang in africanese, luganda, Swahili or blah blah.

For those who don’t agree with me should listen to Black & Beautiful (a Zambian song), Personally I didn’t understand a single word but I loved the whole song.

And Navio just nailed it this time with his ugaflow mix (not lugaflow).
